Ann Elizabeth Harris, 93, of Auburn, passed away Monday, April 18, 2022 at her home. She is a Logan County native, born Nov. 2, 1928 to the late Herschell Franklin Eskew and Katherine Lucille Apperson Eskew. She was a flight instructor, beautician and member of New Life Baptist Church.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Harris, and her daughters, Sheena Harris and Jackie Harris.
She is survived by her daughters, Betty Ann Carver and husband Tom and Sherry Lynn Higgins and husband Steve, all of The Villages, Fla.; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren and a great-great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services for Ann Elizabeth Harris will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Downey officiating and burial to follow in the Auburn Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Thursday from 11 a.m. until the service hour.
Memorial contributions can be made to St Jude Children’s Research; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
