Joe Grace, 89, of Russellville passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the home of his daughter in Nashville. He was born March 15, 1933, to the late Osbey Grace and Irene King Barnes. He was an Army veteran. He worked as district manager and other management duties of Pennyrile Rural Electric for 45 years. He was a member of the Lions Club for many years and a member of the Crittenden Drive Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Shirley Grace; his son, Joey Grace and wife Stephanie of Louisville; his daughter, Kristie Grace King and husband Jack of Nashville; his brothers, Gilbert Lee, Larry Lee and Ronnie Lee, all of Hopkinsville, and Ronnie Lee of Greensboro, N.C.; his sister, Lou Rettberg of Hopkinsville; his grandchildren, Joe David Grace III, Colby Grace, Katherine King, Jack King, Connor Grace and Megan Grace Lambert; and his great-grandchildren, Callan Grace, Rowen Grace and Easton Grace.
Funeral services for Joe Grace will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 27, in Summers and Son Funeral Home with Harris Dockins and Scott Harp officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Sunday, June 26, from 5-7 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. until the service hour.
Memorial donations may be made to Potter Children’s Home or to Crittenden Drive Church of Christ. Envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home.
