Maxine Logsdon Hinton, 78 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
She was born Wednesday, October 24, 1934 in Lewisburg, Kentucky, the daughter of the late James Henry Logsdon and the late Floye Agee Logsdon. She was the wife of the late Clacy Reed Hinton.
She was owner and operator of Hinton Lumber Company and a member of Lewisburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Her organizations included: Elder and Treasurer at Lewisburg C.P. Church since 1978, Former Board Member at First Southern National Bank, Treasurer at Kennerly Chapel Cemetery Foundation, Books To Go Library, Mud River Water Shed Board, and Board of Missions Cumberland Presbytery.
Surviving are daughters, Deloris Coursey (Jeff) of Lewisburg, KY, Cindy Suiter of Russellville, KY and Sherri White (Joey) of Lewisburg, KY; 8 grand children, Tammy Ashby of Russellville, KY, Beth Williams of Lewisburg, KY, Jared Kenner of Russellville, KY, Brandon Coursey of Auburn, KY, Bryan Coursey of Lewisburg, KY, Clacy White of Auburn, KY, Jenny Brown of Lewisburg, KY, and Jeanette Thompson of Lewisburg, KY; 2 sister-in-laws, Dorothy Logsdon of Lewisburg, KY, and Bobbie Dale Taylor of Russellville, KY; 20 great grand children.
She was predeceased by brother, James Logsdon and sister, Geraldine Logsdon.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Sam Romines officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY.
The family will receive friends after 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 3, 2013, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
