Forest Mason, 64, of Russellville, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Logan Memorial Hospital. He was a Logan County native, born Jan. 9, 1958 to James Edward Mason and Elizabeth Allen Mason. He was U.S. Marine Veteran and aa member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth A. Mason of Russellville; his mother-in-law, Peggy Jackson of Cave City; his wife of 12 years, Tammy Jackson Mason; his step-son, Frank Stratton and wife Whitney of Cave City; his step=daughter, Tamra Stratton and fiancé Ronnie McKee of Frankfort; his brother, Clarence Mason of Russellville; his sisters, Gladys Mason, Gracie Woodard and Lillie Mason, all of Russellville; his four grandchildren. and his beloved dog Max.
Funeral services for Forest Mason will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 29, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Frank Stratton, Pastor Reggie Wiggins and Pastor Perry Dillard officiating with burial to follow in Russellville’s Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home Friday will be held from 11 a.m. until the service hour.
Memorial donations may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
