Sarah Sue Phillips, 75, of Auburn, passed away Friday, July 29, 2022, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. She is the daughter of the late Ish and Elizabeth (Vincent) Phillips and is also preceded in death by her brother, Don Phillips.
She is survived by her daughter, Pam Cassady; her grandson, Caleb Cassady, granddaughter Sarah Cassady; her grand-dog Sunset; her future granddaughter-in-law Viyien Lim; her sister, Patty Roper; her sister-in-law, Janis Phillips; her nieces, Kathy Shirley (Mike) and Beth Stewart (Scott); her nephews, Mark Phillips (Parker) and Jonathan Phillips (Amy); several great-nieces and nephews.
She was a member of New Life Church in Auburn. Sue worked for 32 years for Lifeway in Louisville where she began as film clerk working her way to assistant manager. She received the Career of Excellence award for many years of service and later became an instructional aide at Auburn Elementary School.
Cremation was chosen with a Celebration of Life service will be held at New Life Church in Auburn on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022, at 5 p.m. with Scott Cassady officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. at the church.
Kirby Funeral Services Russellville has been entrusted with the arrangements.
