Roy M. Williams, 86, of Russellville, passed away Monday, Aug. 29, 2022 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was a Logan County native. born Oct. 2, 1935 to the late Raymond Williams and Edna P. Wells Williams Stratton. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a self-employed real estate broker running Roy Williams Real Estate and member of the Northside Church of Christ.
He is survived by his sons, Danny Williams of Russellville, Tony Williams and wife Pam of Oregon, Rocky Williams of Elkton and Kenneth Herndon and wife Nancy of Lexington; his daughters, Diana Gibbs and husband Mitch of Bowling Green, Beverly Kinney and husband John of Russellville, and Gail Owens of Russellville; and 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Roy M. Williams will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 2, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Chris Kramer officiating with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Friday will be held from 11 a.m. and lasting until the time of the service.
