Johnnie L. Mantlo, 87, of Russellville, passed away Monday, Sept. 26, 2022 at his home. He was a Logan County native, born Feb. 19, 1935 to the late Thomas Mantlo and Mae Campbell Mantlo. He served in the National Guard and was the local manager for Atmos Energy gas company. He was a member of the First Christian Church where he served as an Elder.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Laurine McIntosh Mantlo; a number of nieces and nephews; and special friends, Buddy and Frankie Smith.
Funeral services for Johnnie L. Mantlo will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Baker officiating with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday at the funeral home will be held from 11 a.m. until the service hour.
Memorial donations may be made to the First Christian Church, 201 West 7th Street, Russellville, Ky. 42276. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
