John Edward Pugh, 80, of Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022 at his residence. He was the son of the late Jonathan Wesley Pugh and Johanna (Scott) Pugh. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Bowling Green, was an Immigration Officer for many years and retired as a deputy sheriff.
John is survived by his wife, Barbara (Mott) Pugh; his sons, Robert Pugh of Russellville and Michael Pugh of Clarksville; his daughter, Traci Gleason (Neil) of Glasgow; his sister, Ester Davidson of Memphis; his grandchildren, Richard Pugh, Jonathan Pugh, William Brown, Addison Pugh, Duncan Gleason, Tala Pugh, James Pugh and Keylea Parramore; and his four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday, Oct. 22, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on Nashville Road in Bowling Green from 11 a.m. to noon and services officiated by Pastor Andy Toopes at noon with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Russellville.
