Richard Allen Chase, 83, of Lewisburg, died on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014, at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville.
He was born Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1931 in Owensboro, the son of the late Otto Chase and the late Marie Pillman Chase. He was the husband of the late Betty Ellis Chase.
He was a self-employed landscaper and a member of Ebeneezer Baptist Church.
He was also an Army Veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his son, Allen Chase of Reed, Ky., and his daughters, Carla Sharp and Holly Chase, both of Lewisburg; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at McPherson Cemetery. Interment will be in McPherson Cemetery, Todd Co., KY.
The family will receive friends from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2014, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg.
