Nadine Lawson, 87, of the Coopertown Road, Russellville, passed away Friday, Dec. 26, 2014 at her home. She was a Logan County native, born to the late Finley Orange and Mazzie Hodge Orange. She was a homemaker and a member of Center Baptist Church, where she served as assistant secretary of the WMU and was a Bible School worker.
She is survived by her husband ~ James D. Lawson; her sons ~ David Lawson (Phyllis), Lendall Lawson (Sheila), and Kendall Lawson (Tonya) ~ all of Russellville; her daughter ~ Phyllis Ann Wilson (Ray) ~ Auburn; her sister ~ Daphne Clark ~ Bowling Green; her 7 grandchildren; and her 11 great- grandchildren.
Funeral services for Nadine Lawson will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Don E. White, Bro. David Youngblood and Bro. Dale Etheridge officiating with burial to follow in Center Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Monday, Dec. 29, from 5-8 p.m. and after 8 a.m. Tuesday until the service hour of 1 p.m.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Center Baptist Church Cemetery. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
