Curtis Lee Coursey, 63, of Lewisburg, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at his residence in Lewisburg. He was born Monday, May 25, 1959, the son of the late Roy "Chatty" Coursey and the late Alma Delk Coursey. He was the husband of Brenda Coursey who survives.
He was a machine operator for Emerson Electric and a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Surviving are his daughter, Rebecca Ferguson (Daniel) of Russellville; his stepdaughter, Shelley Westray (Kelly) of Lexington; his step-granddaughters, Shelby Christmas (Adrian) and Shanna Stokes, both of Lexington; his grandsons, Derek Ferguson, Kaleb Ferguson (Onahka) and Seth Ferguson (Anna), all of Russellville; his great-grandson, Maddox Ferguson of Russellville; his brothers, Wendell Coursey (Sue)of Russellville, Jimmy Ray Coursey, James "Curly" Coursey and Chris Coursey, all of Lewisburg; his sisters, Diane Porter (Rex) and Tammy Sue Spivey, both of Lewisburg; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18 at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg with Bro. Chad Johnson and Warren Stuart officiating. Interment will be in Elk Lick Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. Visitation will also be on Wednesday, beginning at noon.
