Virginia Ann Pursley, 87, of Russellville, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023, at her residence in Lewisburg. She was born Sunday, Feb. 9, 1936, the daughter of the late Absalom Miller and the late Pluma Miller. She was the wife of the late James Pursley.
She owned Jenny's Children's Shop and was a member of Green Ridge Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Judy C. Nash of Lewisburg; her grandson, Jeremy Nash (Amy) of Austin, Texas; her granddaughter, Carol Lee Lawrence (Jason) of Lewisburg; her great-granddaughters, Cheyenne Jenkins (Taylor) and Jordyn Lawrence, all of Lewisburg; her great-grandson, Daylan Lawrence of Lewisburg; and a host of other family members.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at Green Ridge Baptist Church, located at 7411 Highland Lick Road, Lewisburg with Bro. Gary Dawson and Bro. Donnie Lawrence officiating. After the service ,interment will be at Green Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at Green Ridge Baptist Church.
