Charles Michael Parker, 73, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023 in Russellville. He was a Logan County native, born Jan. 26, 1950 to the late Charles H. Parker and Ester Viola Reid Parker. He was a graduate of Austin Peay State University, was a farmer and worked as a loan officer with Farm Credit for 32 years. He was a member of the Logan County Cattleman’s Association and of Stevenson’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Louise Parker; his daughters, Rachel Jones and Michael and Carla White and Brandon, all of Russellville; his grandchildren, Caroline White, Jackson White, Will White, Madison Imlay and Jordan Imlay and his wife, Natasha; and his step-grandchildren, Zane Jones, Mykael Jones and Myles Jones.
Funeral services for Charles Michael Parker will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Hap Hewgley, Billy Bingham and Warren David Wright officiating with burial to follow in Russellville Memorial Gardens. Visitation at the funeral home will be Wednesday, March 8, from 4-7 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. until the time of the service.
