Daniel Vincent Phelps, 64, of Elkton, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Ky.He was born Tuesday, May 27, 1958, to the son of the late Madero Phelps and the late Ola Haynes Phelps. He was the husband of the late Sandra Vick Phelps.
He was a truck driver for Jeff Lear Trucking of Elkton, attended New Cedar Grove Baptist Church and also served in the National Guard.
Surviving are his daughter, Naomi Robinson of Lewisburg; his son, Scott Hildebrand of Pembroke; his sisters, Martha Brown (Ernie) of Centertown, Mary Matimer of Florida, and Barbara Banks (Jesse) and Rebecca Gregory, all of Chandlers; his brothers, Glenn Phelps of Bowling Green, James Phelps (Rosie) of Michigan, andJohn Phelps (Joyce) of Russellville.
He was predeceased by his grandson, Brian Lyons.
A graveside service will be on April 4 at 2 p.m. at Chandlers Chapel Cemetery located at Turner Road in the Auburn area with David and Vicki Watson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations made to Price Funeral Home, Inc. to help with funeral expenses.
