Deborah Ann Evans, 75, of Clarksville, formally of Lewisburg, passed away on June 17, 2023, in her home surrounded by friends and family. She was born April 29, 1948, in Greenville, to the late John Hunt and the late Louie Paradine Pryor Hunt.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Sue Jones; her brothers, Dean Hunt, Ronnie Hunt, Owen Hunt, and Jeffery Hunt.
She is survived by her sister, Linda Mcintosh; her husband, John D. Turner; her son, Shannon Bratton; and her grandchildren, Jackson Bratton and Maggie Bratton.
She was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church; she was formerly a member and treasurer of New Providence Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a devoted Chief of Services for the Training Support Center of Fort Campbell. She retired in 2009 after 38 years of service.
Deborah spent much of her life catering to others, from volunteering at Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen to hosting sophisticated dinner gatherings in her home on her distinctive collection of blue and white china. Deborah was also involved with the Habitat for Humanity.
Deborah spent her most cherished memories surrounded by her friends and family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, especially when caring for her youngest brother, Jeffery Hunt.
In her retirement years, Debbie enjoyed traveling with friends or her husband, John D. Turner. In addition to several destinations, she was able to meet her goal of traveling to all 50 states.
A funeral service will be at Wednesday, June 21, at Price Funeral Home, Inc.. located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, with Brother Paul Scott officiating. Interment was at Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery in Muhlenberg County.
