Maxie Fitzhugh, 87, of Lewisburg, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at Western Kentucky Veterans Center in Hanson.
He was born Saturday, April 4, 1936, the son of the late A.B. Fitzhugh and the late Rena Harper Fitzhugh.
He was a factory worker of Emerson Electric and also a Veteran of the Army.
Surviving are his nephew, Chris Fitzhugh (Christy) of Franklin; his nieces, Jennette Bond (Barry) of Russellville and Jennifer Fritsch (Ed) of Orlinda Tenn.; his great nephews, Dalton Clark (Taylor), Connor Clark, Blake Clark, and Camden Bond; his great-great-niece, Harper Clark; and his great-great-nephew, Maverick Clark all of Russellville.
He was predeceased by by his brother, David Fitzhugh, and sister-in-law, Bonnie Fitzhugh.
A graveside service will be on Thursday, June, 22, at 1 p.m. at Lewisburg Cemetery, located at 169 Deerlick Rd Lewisburg, with Rev Johnny Fuller and Bro Bill Bursztynski officiating.
