Lana Joyce Lawson, 80, of Russellville, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 14, 2023, at Hospice House of Southern KY in Bowling Green.
She was born Saturday, April 3, 1943, the daughter of the late Everett Coffman. She was married to her devoted husband, Alvin "Bud" Lawson, for 63 wonderful years and together they raised a family full of love on their farm in Epley Station.
Lana was a retired hairdresser and antique trader with a keen sense of flair in both. These careers gave her the opportunity to make lifelong friends that she cherished. She was also a member of The Rock Church at Epley.
Also surviving are her sons, Pete (Terrie) Lawson and Jeff (Danita) Lawson, all of Russellville; her granddaughters, Heather (Jordan) Hawkins of Franklin and Landrie Lawson of Russellville; her grandsons, Corey (Holly) Lawson, Kevin (Chelsea) Saunders and Riley (Chanler) Lawson, all of Russellville; her great-grandsons, Mason Davis and Bryce Davis, both of Franklin; her great-granddaughter, Anslee Hawkins of Seymour, Ind.; her sisters, Connie Coffman of Indiana, Sandra Gayle Bilyeu of Greensboro, N.C., and Pat Cabbage of Rocky Mount, N.C,; and her brother, Tony Coffman of Russellville.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Dale Coffman and Danny Coffman; her sister, Phyllis Barnaby, and her daughter-in-law, Maria Ann Lawson.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, at Price Funeral Home, Inc. ,located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, with Bro. Robbie Weathers officiating. Interment will be in Jarrett Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at Price Funeral Home.
