Wendall Terry Thomas, 82, of Russellville passed away Aug. 5, 2023 at the Hospice House of Bowling Green. He was the son of the late Herbert and Lena Thomas.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Todd Thomas; his siblings; Helen Hanson, Alvin.Thomas, Elizabeth Thomas, Dorothy Coleman, Sam Thomas, Shirley Thomas, Jerry Thomas, Gary Richard Thomas and Donald Ray Thomas.
He is survived by dear friend Kathy Thomas of Franklin; his daughter, Lisa Wagoner (Danny) of Russellville; his daughters, Linda Anderson (Larry) of Russellville, Tammy Porter of Dunmor, Connie Crawford (Mark) of Auburn, Tracey Imotichey (Brad) of Franklin, Tenn., and Christina Bell (Matt) of Russellville; his sons, Terry Thomas (Sharon) of Auburn and Paul Yates of Franklin; his sisters, Nancy Cates of Russellville and Kathy Beasley of Auburn; his brothers, Murrell Thomas of Russellville and Herbert Thomas of Auburn,; and his16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Wendall was a member of the Middleton Baptist Church and of the Logan County Coon Hunters Club. He loved his family, shooting pool, and coon hunting.
Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville with Bro. Pete Coleman and Bro. Johnny Fuller officiating services at 1 p.m. with burial to follow in Russellville Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers: Logan Thomas, Chris Wagoner, Shelby Bell, Timmy Thomas, Jeffery Carter, and Josh Lowery.
