Detra Lynn Bowersock Wallace, 63, of Dunmor, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023, at Heartford House in Owensboro.
She was born Thursday, Feb. 18, 1960, the daughter of the late Dennis Bowersock and the late Katie White Bowersock. She was the wife of Billy Wallace, who survives. The couple was happily married for 46 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Horton’s Chapel Church of Christ.
Surviving are her three daughters, Shanna (Angela) Davis of Auburn, Malinda Howard (Oscar Artgia) of Dunmor andWynona Valentine (Moises Luga) of Dunmor; her son, Billy Wallace (Casey Bower) of Drakesboro; her sisters, Dennice (Sam) Lindsey of Wingo and Sharon Arndell of Nashville; her brothers, Ralph (Patty) Bowersock of Bridgeport, Ill., and Terry Bowersock of Dund, Ky.; her grandsons, Dakota Wallace of Dunmor, Justin Wallace of Drakesboro, Dustin (Ashley) Scott of Lewisburg and Daniel (Caitlin) Scott of Russellville; and her granddaughter, Selena Jones of Auburn, KY;
She was predeceased by her sisters, Betty Hurston and Wynona Bowersock; her brothers, George Bowersock, Brother, Ronnie Bowersock and Carl Dean Bowersock; and her son-in-law, Tommy Howard.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Sunday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 10, at the funeral home with Bro. Stony Hildabrand officiating. After the service, interment will be at Horton's Chapel Cemetery.
