Dorothy “Dot” Williams, 95, of Olmstead, passed away Friday, Sept. 8, 2023 at Logan Memorial Hospital. She was a Logan County native, born July 30, 1928 to the late Walter Wood Noe and Franceas Greer Noe. She was a bookkeeper, a member of First Baptist Church in Russellville where she served on the hospitality committee and a volunteer at Logan Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Dorris Williams, and her daughter, Debra Lynn Johnson.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Genevieve Johnson and husband Weston of Olmstead along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Dorothy “Dot” Williams will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 12, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Ball officiating with burial to follow in the Dripping Spring Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Monday from 5-8 pm and on Tuesday from 8 a.m. until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church or the donor’s favorite charity. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
