June Trimble, 88, of Trimble Road, Adairville, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015 at the Walking Hoarse Meadows Assisted Living in Clarksville. She was a Logan County native, born Feb. 11, 1926, to the late Henry Smith and Margaret Ryan Smith. She was a seamstress and also worked as a secretary for Riley and Son Insurance agency. She was a member of the Adairville Baptist Church where she served as nursery worker. She was preceded in death by her late husband James Trimble, Jr.
She is survived by her sons ~ Jack Trimble (Judy) and Jim Trimble (Janet) ~ all of Adairville; her brothers ~ Henry Smith ~ Adairville and Lon Smith ~ Russellville; her sister ~ Nancy Guion ~ Bowling Green; 8 grandchildren and 16 great- grandchildren.
Funeral services for June Trimble will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, in the Adairville Baptist Church, with Bro. Mark Bond officiating and burial to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Adairville. Visitation at the church will take place Sunday, beginning at 10 a.m. and lasting until the funeral hour at 2. Due to the services being held Sunday at the church, there will be no morning or evening services.
Donations may be made to the Adairville Baptist Church General Fund. Envelopes will be available at the church. Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers: Blake Trimble, Brooks Trimble, Jim Mitchell, Derrick Byrum, John Michael Byrum and Daniel Williams.
