Helen Frances Kimball Jordan, 96 of Auburn, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023 at the Greenwood Nursing and Rehab in Bowling Green. She was born in Newport, R.I. on Sept. 11, 1927 to the late Reginald Stevens Kimball and Helen Frances Easton Kimball. She was a retired teacher and retired lay pastor and member of the Auburn Presbyterian Church. She was a past member of the Rotary Club, Auburn Historical Society, Logan County Retired Teachers and Auburn Senior Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Boyd F. Jordan Jr., and brothers, Arthur Kimball, Chase Kimball and Billy Bliss and sister, Starelle King.
She is survived by her children, Sarah Steger and, Andrew Jordan II, both of Bowling Green, Boyd F. Jordan III (Gail) of Sarasota, Fla., Myra Jordan of Potosi, Mo., Ross K. Jordan of Auburn, Mary Hunt (Brian) of Naples, Fla. and John Jordan of Olathe, Kan.; her sisters,
Marjorie Stickler of Belfast, Maine and Nancy Howard Bliss od Portland, Ore.; 24 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren
Funeral Services for Helen Frances Kimball Jordan will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Rich Cooper officiating with burial to follow in Caney Fork Cemetery in Butler County. Visitation at the funeral home Saturday will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
