Rebecca Link “Becky” Kemp, 71, of Russellville, passed away Friday, Oct. 27, 2023 at TriStar Skyline in Nashville, She was born March 31, 1952 in Russellville to the late Robert Edwin “Ed” Link and Lucille Hughes Link. She was a retired teacher with the Logan County School System and a member of the First Christian Church. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with friends, family and especially her grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Kemp, and her brothers, Robert Lewis Link and William O. “Bill” Link.
She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Orr and husband Jason of Lexington; her sons, Jonathan Kemp and wife Kathy of Alvaton and Phillip Kemp and wife Andrea of Leitchfield; her sister, Nancy Link Summers and husband Brent of Adairville; and her grandchildren, Celia Orr, Olivia Orr, Lydia Orr, Madelynn Kemp, Charlotte Kemp, Eva Kemp, Ann Marie Kemp, Lucille Kemp and Luke Kemp
Cremation was chosen for Rebecca Link “Becky” Kemp, and there will be a memorial service at a later date.
Summers and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
