Linda Kaye Calloway, 68, of Bowling Green, formerly of Russellville, gained her wings on Friday, Nov. 3, 2023 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. She was born on Feb. 10, 1955 in Gallatin to the late Emma Louise Jones.
She was also preceded in death by her late husband, Henry Calloway; her grandmother, Mary Jeff Jones; and her nephew, Jimmy Donnell Barksdale.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Calloway of Russellville; her step-son, Craig Calloway of Russellville; her brother, Chuck Jones (Debra) of Gallatin; her sister, Deborah Barksdale (Jimmy) of Gallatin; her special and her devoted friend, Henry Clark of Bowling Green; her sisters-in-law. Josephine Calloway of Russellville and Dorothy Calloway of New Albany, Ind.; her grandchildren, Reagan Wilkerson, Jayden Duncan, Jordan Duncan, Justin Duncan, Autum Karcz, Quintin Calloway, Aiden Roach, Gabriel Sitz, Michael Sitz, Patrice Calloway, Brooklyn Calloway, Craigen Calloway; her great-grandchildren, Arya Rollins, Mia Rollins, Maryjade Karcz and Ronan Karcz; and her nephews, Troy Barksdale and Tony Barksdale.
Linda loved her family and had a special love for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and relatives. She also loved to work1000-piece puzzles and frame them, as well as cooking, dancing, and making people laugh. She was a member of Hillview Heights Church in Bowling Green.
Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 11, in the Chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m., officiated by Pastor Harold Carter and Minister Tonya West with burial to follow in Russellville’s Greenwood Cemetery.
The family will be having a Repass at the funeral home after the service and are asked to bring food to the funeral home.
