Hunt, James Glendon

James Glendon "Guinea" Hunt, 83, of Lewisburg, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023, at the Hospice House of Southern KY in Bowling Green.He was born Thursday, Oct. 31, 1940, the son of the late Clyde Hunt and the late Loretta Sumner Hunt. He was the husband of Janice Wilson Hunt of Lewisburg, who survives.

He was a truck driver at Southern Sanitation for many years and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Lewisburg.

In addition to his wife, Guinea is survived by his son, Darrin (Jennifer) Hunt of Russellville, and his sister, Carlene (Doug) McPherson, also of Russellville.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Herbert Lee Hunt, and his sister, Goldie Joyce Hunt.

A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 20, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, with Bro. Tim Nugent officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at Price Funeral Home. There will also be visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
