Dock Hughes Lyons, 91, of Boyles Drive, Russellville, passed away Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015 in Russellville.  He was a Logan County native. born Jan. 19, 1924 to the late Robert Lyons and Birdie Lee Lyons.  He was a millwright with the steel mill and a World War II US Army Ranger Veteran. He attended Bethany Church of Christ and was a member of the Russellville Senior Citizens Center.

He is survived by his sons ~ Tom Lyons ~ Hot Springs Village, Ark., David Lyons ~ Temple, Texas,John Lyons ~ Heber Springs, Ark.,  Clifford Lyons ~ Cabot, Ark. and Daniel Lyons ~ Columbus, Ohio; his daughter ~ Dana Holland ~ Waterford, Mich.;14 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren; his Near and Dear Friend ~ Dot Gilliam ~ Russellville; and his nieces ~ Beulah Knight and Mildred Page.

Funeral services for Dock Hughes Lyons will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 29, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Harris Dockins and Bro. Arno Krantz officiating with burial to follow in Dripping Spring Cemetery.  Visitation at the funeral home will be Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. and Thursday, after 8 a.m. until the funeral hour of 11 a.m. 

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Russellville Senior Citizens Center.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
