Vickie Lea Lyons, 71, of Elkton, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023 at her home. She is the daughter of the late Otho W. Blake and Sadie Mae Blake. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Mac Blake.
Vickie is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Tommy Glenn Lyons of Elkton; her sons, Jonathan Floyd (Angie) of Dawson Springs and Joshua Floyd (Sharon) of Camden, Tenn.; her daughters, Jeanette Ruich (Rick) of Pembroke and Julie Floyd (Mary Wilson) of Hopkinsville;; her brother, Morris Blake; and her 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Vickie was of the Baptist faith, loved fishing, sewing, painting and working in the garden.
Visitation will be on Monday, Dec. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with funeral services at 2 p.m. conducted by Bro. Larry Chapman. She will be cremated after services and buried in Jarrett Cemetery.
Food and drinks can be brought to the funeral home during visitation.
