Larry B. Sitz, 81, of Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024, at his home in Russellville. He was born Thursday, Aug. 13, 1942, the son of the late Werner Sitz and the late Dorothy Hunt Sitz. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Connie Yates Sitz.
Larry was a retired boilermaker at TVA, tax preparer, and farmer. He was also a member of Kedron Church of Christ.
Also surviving are his sons, Larry Keith Sitz of Bowling Green and Jeffery Owen Sitz of Auburn; his sisters, Judith Sitz of Evansville and Sharon Sitz of Lewisburg; his brothers, Richard (Brenda) Sitz of Lewisburg, James (Sherry) Sitz of Dunmor, Roger (Desma) Sitz of Lewisburg and Rodney (Gayla) Sitz of Lewisburg his granddaughter, Rachel Edwards of Greenville; and his great-grandson, Alek Edwards of Greenville.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael Neal Sitz and David Norman Sitz.
A graveside service will be at noon on Monday, Jan. 22, at Old Hebron Cemetery located on Hunt Road, Dunmor. Interment will be in Old Hebron Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 11 a.m. on Monday at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
