Mary Jo Conger, 87, of Crittenden Circle, Russellville, passed away Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015 at Logan Memorial Hospital. She was born in Big Sandy, Tenn. on July 13, 1927 to the late Will Stockdale and Omar Stockdale. She was a bookkeeper for Bilt Rite and a member of the United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years ~ Jimmy Conger; her son ~ Lewis Conger and wife, Charlene ~ Russellville; her grandsons ~ Jim Conger and wife, Judy ~ Springfield, Tenn. and Brian Conger ~ Russellville.
Funeral services for Mary Jo Conger will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 1 at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Sayre officiating with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be Saturday, Jan. 31, from 4-7 p.m. and Sunday, from noon until the service hour of 2 p.m.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the United Methodist Temple General Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
