Edna Nadine Soyars, 80, of Russellville, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024, at Hearthstone Place in Elkton, Kentucky. She was born Thursday, Nov. 11, 1943, the daughter of the late Charles Dowd and the late Radie Insco Dowd. She was the wife of the late Charles Thomas Soyars.
She was a line worker at Emerson Electric. She was a member of Keysburg Baptist Church and attended Eastside Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Darlene (Mike) Smith of Russellville; her step-daughter, Brenda Knight of Russellville; her grandchildren, Erik (Morgan) Smith of Beechmont, Tabatha Knight Vassey (Darrell) of Russellville, Charlene Soyars of Scottsville, Samatha Knight of Russellville and Ethan Soyars of Scottsville; and her nine hreat-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by her stepsons, Gary Soyars and Charles "CW" Wayne Soyars; her sister, Jean Ashby; her grandson, Brandon Smith; and her brothers, Rayburn "Stumpy" Dowd and Hubert Dowd.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg with Alen Woodward and Jimmy Chapman officiating. Interment will be at Arnold Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
