Raymond O'dell Adler, 81, of Russellville, died on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, at his home.
He was born Monday, May 31, 1933 in Lewisburg, the son of the late Sherman Garfield Adler Sr. and the late Oma Todd Fitzhugh Adler. He was the husband of Margaret Holder Adler, who survives.
He was retired from General Motors in Dayton, Ohio. He was also a gardener, woodworker, and electrician.
He was an Army Veteran of Korea and a member of Southern Heights Baptist Church.
Surviving are his sons, Blaine Adler of Memphis and Todd Adler (Rhonda) of Russellville; hia daughters, Tonja Adler Miller (Ed) of Marysville, Ohio and Tammie Adler Dye (Bryan) of Russellville; hia brothers, Sherman Adler Jr. of Lewisburg and Eddie Adler of Fort Myers, Fla.: his sisters, Lillie Belle Johnson of Russellville and Alice Marie Gower of Lewisburg; 11 grandchildren, Amanda Kay Adler of Rockfield, Anthony Adler of Tullahoma, Tenn., Shelly Adler of Murfreesboro, Zachery Kyle Adler of Russellville, Kaelyn Rae Adler of Russellville, Katie Miller of Marysville, Ohio, Melissa Miller of Russellville, Macie Raye Dye of Russellville, Megan Michelle Breanne Dye of Russellville, Zachary Ryan Keith Dye of Russellville, Steven Nathaniel Dye of Russellville; his great-grandchildren, Abigail Lynn Schultz of Rockfield, Aiden Parker Schultz of Rockfield, Jaxon Everrett Roth of Marysville, Ohio, and Braylin Wayne Cunningham of Murfreesboro.
He was predeceased by brother, Douglas Adler.
A memorial service was scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday at Southern Heights Baptist Church with interment in Maple Grove Cemetery, Russellville.
The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg.
