Davey Goodnight, 51, of Russellville, passed away Friday, Feb. 16, 2024 at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. He was born Dec. 18, 1972 in Marion, Ind. to the late David Earl Goodnight and Cynthia Lou Byers Goodnight. He was employed at Papa Johns and was of the non-denominational faith.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Diane Venable Goodnight; his stepdaughters, Amber Thompson and Amie Stacey, both of Russellville; his grandchildren, Ambreyona Lyles, Braylen White, Carmiyah Thompson, Drie ‘Coreyann Thompson and Alivia Scruggs; and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services for Davey Goodnight will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Mitch Hedge officiating with burial to follow in Stevenson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation on Wednesday will be held from 11 a.m. until the service hour.
