Jo Ann Parrish, 89, of Russellville, passed away Monday, Feb. 19, 2024 at Creekwood Nursing and Rehab in Russellville. She was born Feb. 28, 1934 in Russellville to the late Odie Lee Justice and Rosa Gladys Taylor Justice. She was a homemaker and lifelong member of Green Ridge Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she was active in numerous church roles. She was also active at the local farmers’ market.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil L. Parrish.
She is survived by her son, Steven Parrish and wife Patricia of Memphis; her daughter, Rev. Rebecca Wegner and husband Joel of Brunswick, Maine; her granddaughters, Leah Parrish Mueller and husband Tanner of Dubuque, Iowa and Lindsey Parrish of Memphis; and her great-grandchildren, Tanner Mueller, Avery Mueller and Harrison Mueller.
Funeral services for Jo Ann Parrish will be conducted at noon on Saturday, Feb. 24, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Keith Hildabrand officiating with burial to follow in Green Ridge Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home Saturday will be held from 10 a.m. until the service hour of noon.
