Lloyd Wade Sansom, 96, of Russellville, passed away Friday, April 5, 2024 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was born in Russellville on March 12, 1928 to the late John Ryland Sansom and Virginia Wade Sansom. He was a U.S. Airforce Veteran, farmer, and member of First Baptist Church, Sixth and Main Streets in Russellville.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Polly Sansom, and his sons, Paul Sansom and Steve Sansom.
He is survived by his son, Mark Samsom and wife Mary of Bowling Green; his grandchildren, Victoria Sherertz and husband Matt of Georgetown, Paul Neal Samson of Georgia, and Daniel Sansom, David Sansom and Joshua Sansom and wife Kelsey, all of Bowling Green; and his four great-grandchildren,
Graveside Services for Lloyd Wade Sampson will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 12, at Russellville Memorial Gardens with Pastor Steve Ayers officiating. There will be no visitation held prior to the graveside service.
Summers and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
