Marie C. Rogers, 93, of Orndorff Mill Street, Russellville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015 at Logan Memorial Hospital. She was a Logan County native, born to the late Whitney Lamont Celsor and Viola Herndon Celsor. She was the widow of the late Ed Rogers. She worked as retail manager for The Davis Shop in Russellville and was an avid quilter. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her son ~ Norman Utley and wife, Sandra ~ Cleburne, Texas; her daughter ~ Charlotte L. Cottrell ~ Russellville; her brother ~ Edward Celsor ~ Allensville; her sister ~ Rebecca Hollandsworth ~ Russellville; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Marie C. Rogers will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 9, at Maple Grove Cemetery with Pastor Tom Thompson officiating. There will be no public visitation.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the donor’s favorite charity.
