Donnie Jenkins, 68, of Lewisburg, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. He was born Monday, February 13, 1956, the son of the late Vernard (Vert) Jenkins and the late Eva Dean Wilson Jenkins.
He was a heavy equipment operator at Morgantown Quarry.
Surviving are his son, Nathaniel (Lisa) Jenkins of Greenbrier, Tenn.; his sisters, Kathy (Dwayne) Rhodes of Belton, Diane (Eddie) Randolph of Midland and Patricia Minton of Penrod; his brother, Stevie (Charla) Jenkins of Quality; his half-sister, Patsy (Morris) Travis of Browder; his granddaughters, Rayne McCroy-Jenkins, Raven McCory-Jenkins, Noelle Jenkins and Norah Jenkins, all of Greenbrier.
He was predeceased by his half-sisters, Sherrill Welch and Deloris Maxwell; his half-brother, Billy Jenkins; and his step-daughter, Summer Choate.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, with Bro. Roger Reynolds officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Moriah Church of Christ Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at Price Funeral Home.
