John Phillip Holloway Sr., 65, of Russellville. died on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was born Thursday, Feb. 2, 1950 in Russellville, the son of the late Alvie ‘Doc’ Holloway and the late Ruth Hankins Holloway. He was the husband of Kathy Sumner Holloway of Russellville, who survives.
He was retired from Sensus and a member of Crittenden Drive Church of Christ.
Also surviving are his son, J.P. Holloway Jr. (Amanda) of Russellville; hid daughter, Chasity Brown (Edward) of Russellville; his brothers, Jerry Holloway and Garnet Holloway, both of Russellville; his sisters, Linda Celsor, Brenda Gorrell and Sandra Spear, all of Russellville; and his four grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Rob Holloway, Doug Holloway, David Lee Holloway, Ken Holloway, Ed Holloway and Randall Holloway.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Crittenden Drive Church of Christ with Charles Roney and Andy Walker officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg. and again after 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Crittenden Drive Church of Christ in Russellville.
