Johnson, Amanda Renee

Amanda Renee Johnson, 43, of Russellville, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at University of Louisville Health Jewish Hospital in Louisville.She was born Friday, Oct. 10, 1980, the daughter of Bro. Gary Chapman and Patricia Chapman of Russellville, who both survive. She was the wife of Eddie Johnson of Russellville, who also survives.

She was a certified medical assistant and a member of Center Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents and husband Amanda is survived by her aunt, Jenny Barry (Carlos Soto) of Franklin; her uncle, Keith (Kathie) Brim of Rockingham, Va.; his maternal grandmother, Gerri Dean of Russellville; her sister-in-law, Sharon Baldwin of Russellville; her brother-in-law, Tracy Johnson of Russellville; and her six fur babies, Sydney, Remi, Albert, Daisy, Sissy and Junior.

She was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Margaret Johnson, and her father-in-law, William Johnson Jr.

A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22,  at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg with Bro. Gary Chapman and Bro. Adrian Cavanaugh officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at Price Funeral Home.
