Robert E. “Bob” Boutwell, 67, of Russellville, passed away on Sunday July 7, 2024, at Alive Hospice in Nashville. He was son of the late Robert Boutwell and Donna Morrison (Nicholson) living.
He is preceded in death by his father and his sister, Betty Jo Marcotte, and his brother, Brian LaDew.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Boutwell of Russellville; his son, Jason Robert Boutwell (Alicia) of Portland; his sister, Amy Miles of Freeport, Fla.; and his granddaughter, Willow Linn Boutwell of Portland.
He retired from the military after 24 years of service. He also served 20 years as a corrections officer in Okaloosa County, Fla.
Bob loved his wife, family, and friends. On Aug.18, Bob and Linda would have celebrated 45 years of marriage and were very proud of the life they created together. He loved spending quality time with all of them. He was avid golfer who enjoyed playing rounds almost daily with his friends. He adored and loved his time with his granddaughter Willow. Bob and his wife were members of a jeep club and loved traveling with them to events and volunteering.
Bob’s wishes were to be cremated and burial will take place in Nashville Veterans Cemetery at a later date with military honor.
