Christine Blake McClellan, 92, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at her home. She was born in Clifty on Jan. 4, 1932, to the late Otho W. Blake and Sadie Mae Lear Blake.
She worked at Emerson Electric and was a member of the United Methodist Temple. She was involved in the United Methodist Woman Missions for 62 years and was a member of the Republic Women’s Club and the Homemakers. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Earl McClellan; her brothers, Roscoe Blake and Mack Blake; and her sister, Vickie Lyons.
She is survived by her son, James Michael Boley and wife Nanette of Elkton; her stepson, Greg McClellan and wife Linda of Orlando, Fla.; her daughters, Lynn Crouse and husband Herman of Alvaton and Carol Flowers of Adairville; her brother, Morris Blake of Elkton; her sisters, Dolly Latham and Juleen Addison, both of Elkton; and her 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Christine Blake McClellan will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 15, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Rev. David Harting, Greg McClellan and Dr. David Oaks officiating with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation Monday at the funeral home will be held from 9 a.m. until the service hour.
