Esther Bush Kees, 94, of Russellville, passed away Monday, July 15, 2024 at Creekwood Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Russellville on July 5, 1930 to the late Halfred Lee Bush and Addie Lou Smith Bush. She worked as a bookkeeper for various businesses. She was a member of Berea Christian Church and Church Treasurer for over 50 years.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Livingston Kees.
She is survived by her son, John Kees and wife Carol of Russellville; her daughters, Carolyn Kees Baker and husband Larry of Russellville and Nancy Kees Golden and husband, Paul ~ Celina, Texas; her brother, Ed Bush of Russellville; and her eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services for Esther Bush Kees will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 22, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Lovell officiating with burial to follow in Berea Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Sunday, July 21, from 5-8 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. until the service hour.
