Debra Jean Harper, 67, of Lewisburg, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at University of Louisville Health Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born Monday, Nov. 5, 1956, the daughter of the late Rhea Bourne and the late Barbara Swallows Bourne Forsythe. She was the wife of Barry Harper, who survives.
She was a teachers’ aide in the Logan County School System and was a member of Center Baptist Church. Also, she was a member of the Sew Fun Homemakers Group and enjoyed making crafts.
Also surviving are her daughters, Amy (Todd) Haley of Lewisburg, Lisa DeArmond of Belton and Krystal (Jesse) Beachy of Russellville; her sister, Brenda (Mike) Rose of Elizabethtown; her brothers, Curtis Bourne of Raleigh, N.C. and Frankie (Michelle) Bourne of Guymon, Okla.; and her nine grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Dennis Bourne amd Randall Bourne and her stepfather, Willard Forsythe.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, with Bro. Gary Chapman officiating. Interment will be in Center Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. Another visitation will be at 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 2, at the funeral home.
