Billy Wayne Goley, 79, of Russellville, passed away Sunday, Aug, 18, 2024 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green. He was born in Russellville, on July 22, 1945 to the late Daniel Earl Goley and Ella Cornwell Goley. He worked for Houchens Industries, Goley’s Sales and Service and the Logan County School System. He was a member of First Christian where he served as Elder and Trustee.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Gayle Markham Goley; his sons, Barry Wayne Goley and Tim of Bowling Green and Christian Goley-Clark and Barry C. of Smiths Grove; his daughter, Shannon Layne Gorrell and Marty of Russellville; his sister, Linda Howell of Reding, Calif.’; his grandchildren ~ Briley, Landyn and Addilyn; London (Michael), Noah (Allison), Aaron, Geordan, Elizabeth, Gavin, Gage and Grayson; and his great-grandchildre, Caroline and Oliver.
Funeral services for Billy Wayne Goley will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Baker officiating, with burial to follow in Berea Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Thursday will be held from 9 a.m. until the service hour.
