Makayla Leigh Johnson, 26, of Olmstead passed away Sunday, Aug. 25, 2024 in Adams, Tenn. She was born on Dec. 5, 1997 in Springfield to her father, Micah Wayne Johnson (Stacy) of Olmstead, and her mother, Kathryn Leigh Gillespie (Kent) of Richmond. She is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Emily and Jerry Agee of Richmond; her paternal grandparents, Dan and Wanda Grayson of Olmstead; her brother, James Hunter Johnson of Russellville; and many other extended family & friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, James Johnson.
She was a graduate of Olmstead Elementary and Middle School then attended and became a graduate of Logan County High School.
Makayla loved her family, spending time with her dogs, attending concerts, kayaking the Red River, and making adventures in her jeep.
Visitation will be Saturday, Aug. 31, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m in the chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville with a Celebration of her life at with private burial to follow in the Johnson Family Farm Cemetery in Olmstead.
