James Mack Mallory, 76, of Bowling Green, formerly of Russellville passed away Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was born in Russellville on April 4, 1948 to the late James Edward Mallory and Marion Kemp Mallory.
He was a radio announcer for WRUS for 37 years and was a member of the Optimist Club for many years. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Sixth and Main streets in Russellville where he led worship music for a number of years.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Marion Alan Mallory.
He is survived by his brother, Edward Mallory of Hardeeville, S.C.; his niece, Monica Mallory of Charleston, S.C.; his great-niece, Lillie Fetch; and his great-nephew, Malcom Fetch.
A private service will be held at a later date. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association.
