Debbie Jean (Lee) McMurtry, 66, of Bowling Green, passed from this life on Monday, Sept. 2, 2024 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.
She will be cremated, and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Sept. 14, at 2 p.m. at Kirby Funeral Services Russellville, 110 Franklin St, Russellville, Ky with her nephew, Jeremy Wright, officiating. The family will receive friends 12-2 p.m.
Debbie was born on April 21, 1958, in Leitchfield to the late J.C. Lee and (surviving) mother, Sarah (Gregory) Parker. She was a retired hairstylist and worked most of her career at Great Clips of Bowling Green. She attended Hillvue Heights Church and professed Jesus Christ as her Savior. She enjoyed spending her spare time with family and especially her great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed attending the local Native American Pow-Wows in Hopkinsville.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sons, John Kelly and Isaac Lee Boisseau, and her brother, Jerry Dean Lee.
Survivors include her mom, Sarah; her daughters, Tosha Bree (Lee) Gordon and Chandra Inez (Boisseau) Sitz; her 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Steve Mink and Terry Lee (Tina); her sisters, Charlotte (Mink) Sorrell and Tammy Wright (Michael); her sister-in-law, Robyn (Bailey) Lee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
