Marvin Ross, 73, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024 at St. Thomas West in Nashville. He was born in Corcoran, Calif. on Feb/ 15, 1951 to the late Issac Wheeler Ross Jr. and Loretta Loveall Ross. He worked as a custodian for the Logan County School System. He was of the Baptist faith and serviced as Trustee of local churches. He was a former volunteer for the Adairville Fire Department and EMT.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Melvin Ross.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol Harlan Ross; his son, Jeremy Ross and wife Penny of Franklin; his daughter, Marrinda Hendricks and husband Bill of Russellville; his brothers, Roger Ross and wife Mary of Bowling Green, Joe Ross of Bowling Green, and Larry Ross and wife Creta of Columbia, Tenn.; his grandchildren, Jerred Ross and wife Mollie, Carleigh Ross, Laura Groves and husband Nick, and Kristen Hendricks and Nicole; and his great-grandchildren, Jason Ross, Eva Groves and Noa Groves.
Funeral Services for Marvin Ross will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Brad Rogers and Bro. Phillip Alexander officiating with burial to follow in the Russellville Memorial Gardens. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Friday from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until the service hour.
