Leanna Kay (Lockwood) Gipson, 71, of Auburn, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 2024 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth F. Lockwood and Lucills K. (Flood) Lockwood.
She is survived by her husband, Dan Gipson; her daughter, Shelly Barnett of Florida; her sons, Kory Gipson (Rebecca) of Auburn and Kenneth Gipson (Amanda) of Cross Plains, Tenn.; her stepson, John Gipson (Tess) of Augusta, Ga.; her grandchildren, Katlyn Cadle, Embree Gipson, Autumn Gipson, Deven Gipson, Riley Gipson, J.R. Gipson, Jeremiah Gipson, and Eli Gipson; and a great-grandchild, George James Cadle.
She was a member of the Woodlawn Baptist Church for four years, retired from Logan Memorial Hospital after being a registered nurse for over 20 years. She loved her family and grandchildren, crocheting, and watching hummingbirds.
Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 4 from 5 -8 pm with funeral at 10 a.m. Saturday with Bro. Kenny Chyle officiating with burial to follow in Jaggers Cemetery in Mammoth Cave National Park.
