Cleve 'Roger' Hardcastle, 81, of Russellville, passed away on Nov. 8, 2024 at his home surrounded by loved ones. Roger was born in Butler County Kentucky to the late Charles and Jessie Hardcastle. He served our country in the Army during the Vietnam War. Roger loved his family and his grandkids, and he really enjoyed buying them things.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Charles Hardcastle, Bob Hardcastle and Morris Hardcastle; and his sister, Betty Sue Hardcastle.
Roger is survived by his wife, Janet Hardcastle of Russellville; his daughters, Roxanne Acup (Brian) of Indiana, Janel McGaugh (Kenny) of Russellville, Jessie Piper of Russellville and Victoria Drake of Russellville; his sons, Cleve Roger Hardcastle Jr. (Michelle) of California and Eddie Hardcastle of Russellville; his sister, Mary Chandler of Florida; and his 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday, Nov. 16, from noon to 1 p.m. in the chapel at Kirby Funeral Services Russellville with a celebration of life to follow.
