Imogene Sayne, 80, of Plainview Church Road, Auburn, passed away Tuesday, March 03, 2015 at her home.She is a Logan County native, born Oct. 1, 1934 to the late Ray L. McMurtry and Grace McMurtry Hayes.She was a homemaker and was of the non-denominational faith.She is preceded in death by her husband, Ed Sayne.
She is survived by her son ~ Roy Sayne and wife, Judy ~ Russellville; her daughter ~ Lucy Gainous ~ Auburn; her brother ~ Sonny McMurtry ~ Russellville; her sisters ~ Evelyn Norris and husband, Walter ~ Jeffersonville, Ind., Nancy Aicher and husband, Ed ~ Auburn, and Midge Bilbrey ~ Auburn; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Imogene Sayne will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 9 at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Randy Richardson officiating with burial in Berea Cemetery.Visitation at the funeral home on Monday will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour of 2 p.m.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
